Anton and his wife Nicky and their three daughters moved to New Zealand from South Africa in 2005.
In South Africa, Anton had many interests. His main love was the fellowship that he, with Nicky by his side, established and pastored, for six years, in the town of Kokstad. As an attorney of the High Court of South Africa, his main activity was a law practise in Kokstad. Part-time, he farmed the family farm "Bonaparte" and also served in the South African National Defence Force Reserve as a military law officer with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
In New Zealand, Anton has been admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and is currently serving as a prosecutor with the Police Prosecution Service. Nicky is teaching at KingsWay Christian School and has a wonderful ministry, there, with God's little children.
After worshiping at Calvary Chapel Auckland for some three years, Anton and Nicky stepped out in August 2008 and planted Calvary Coastal Fellowship on the Hibiscus Coast. The fellowship is growing in God's word and is experiencing God's abundant grace.
It was in teaching the book of Genesis line by line, verse by verse, and particularly the story of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, that Anton (with the church) began to see the extent to which Israel and the Church are inextricably tied together in Yeshua, the Messiah of the Jews.
The enormity of the tragedy of God's chosen people, the Jews, through centuries of suffering largely not knowing their Messiah; of them now standing at the threshold of the time of Jacob's trouble, without their Messiah, has given Anton a tremendous urgency to send messengers to Israel to sow the seed that must surely soon bear fruit for the Kingdom of God. And so...Hazor'im... they that sow.
Anton's prayer is that Hazor'im will be used by the Lord to equip and send many, many faithful to Israel, not only to sow in tears, but also to reap with songs of joy.
