Mark, along with his wife of 31 years, Marie Anne, lives at Prince's Grant, near Durban, South Africa. They have both been serving the Lord Yeshua faithfully since they were saved in 1991. They have three grown sons, Shane, Dean and Jed.
Before moving to Prince's Grant Golf Estate in 2007, Mark and Marie Anne spent thirty years farming near Kokstad where they owned one of the premium Sussex Cattle studs in South Africa. The farming operation was sold to a Corporation consisting of some of the black farm workers on "Brookside", backed by government funding. It is one of the rare success stories to come out of the land distribution program in South Africa, thanks in no small measure to Mark's ongoing guidance and the respect that his former employees have for him.
Having grown up with numerous Jewish friends, it was no surprise that after coming to faith in their Messiah, Mark showed an intense heart and love for the Jewish people. He has since 1994, virtually every year along with his wife, undertaken one to two month mission trips to Israel. They have faithfully, and often under difficult circumstances, taken the gospel of Yeshua the Messiah, to the people of Israel. Mark has consequently built up a great deal of experience on the mission field, not only in Israel but among the Arabs in neighbouring Jordan.
Besides a heart for evangelism, God has gifted Mark with a tremendous gift of encouragement in the body of Christ. He is also a very able teacher of God's word, zealous to rightly divide scripture and to preach the truth uncompromisingly.
Since moving to Prince's Grant, Mark has taken on the co-pastorship of a local church, serving two congregations in the Indian community there.
It is with this background that Mark seeks to serve the Lord, through Hazor'im, by leading teams of evangelists in Israel. Mark is our "point" man. He knows the seed, the field and the One who gives the increase.
