Statement of Faith

We believe that:

  1. There is one God, in the trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  2. God created the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, in six days.
  3. The Holy Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God, against which is to be tested all teaching, doctrine, prophecy and manifestation of spirit.
  4. Man has an inherently sinful nature, a legacy from Adam, the first man.
  5. God sovereignly entered into a covenant relationship with Abraham and his descendants, through Isaac and Jacob, promising the land of Israel, His special blessing to the nation of Israel and His blessing, through Abraham's seed, to all the nations of the earth.
  6. God, through the Law and the Prophets given to Israel, foretold and foreshadowed the coming Redeemer, the Messiah of Israel, as the Saviour of the world.
  7. Messiah is Yeshua, Jesus of Nazareth, God incarnate, born of the virgin Mary, of the line of David and by conception of the Holy Spirit of God.
  8. Salvation from the eternal consequences of sin is worked by Messiah, the Lamb of God, once for all, through His death on the cross of Calvary, His burial, and His resurrection on the third day. He then ascended to Heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father.
  9. Such salvation is offered to all people who would believe, by grace alone, through faith in Yeshua (and not by works).
  10. At the point of salvation, the believer is regenerated by rebirth through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
  11. Believers are empowered by Yeshua, through the Holy Spirit outpoured, to be witnesses for Him.
  12. Believers are enabled by Holy Spirit gifts to serve God and His people.
  13. The church is commissioned to take the gospel of Messiah to all the world, but, by priority, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.
  14. God has a particular prophetic purpose for the land and the people of Israel. In fulfilment of prophecy, God scattered Israel amongst all the nations and has now, in the last days, gathered them together again, in the land.
  15. Israel is soon to face 7 years of Tribulation which will culminate in all the nations of the earth coming up against Israel. Messiah will then return to deliver Israel. All of Israel will look upon Him whom they have pierced and all will be saved.
  16. Immediately prior to, or during these events, the Church will be raptured and taken up to meet the Lord in the air.
  17. The Messiah, Yeshua, will then set up His Kingdom on earth and will reign from Jerusalem for 1,000 years before the final rebellion of Satan when Satan will be cast into the lake of fire.
  18. All will be judged: The righteous in Messiah to reward and eternal fellowship with God in Heaven. The lost, which reject Messiah, to eternal punishment in Gehenna.
